We lead with the great news that the new museum and archives at Lews Castle is expected to be phased in from early 2016.

This will be welcome news to residents and visitors alike, both of whom will be pleased to have a modern facility holding safe our historical and cultural legacy, see pages 1 and 3.

In what is a first, the fire service are offering to teach CPR by inviting schools, businesses, and other organisations into the station to use a dynamic new course, see page 6.
