The children at Stornoway Playgroup are doing a ‘Thinking of Others’ theme.
Recently they went shopping and filled two shoeboxes for Blythswood, then delivered them to the local shop.
They also had a visit from Jonathan and Ashley from The Gambia Partnership, who showed the children the water filters they hope to buy for 90 homes in the village they help in the Gambia.
Stornoway Playgroup donated £120 to the charity and some small toys they bought for the children in the Gambia.
The playgroup children also made a wall frieze for the Gambian school. Every child brought in one of their own toys to take to the Gambia Partnership shop to sell.
Next week the group plan to visit Dun Eisdean and Bethesda care homes to sing to the residents and bring them a harvest basket.
