Transocean Winner - public information meeting

This meeting is open to anyone to attend. Hugh Shaw, the Secretary of State’s Representative (SOSREP) will chair the meeting and Transocean (Dave Walls), SMIT Salvage (Sylvia Tervoort), Offshore Heavy Transport and Marine Scotland (Jim McKie) will be part of the panel.

There will be presentations followed by a question and answer session. It is anticipated that the meeting will run until 9:30pm.

Hugh Shaw, SOSREP said: “Tuesday’s public meeting is an opportunity for the local residents and businesses of the Western Isles community to find out more about the final stages of the Transocean Winner.

“The meeting will enable people to speak directly to me, Transocean, SMIT and Marine Scotland about any of the issues they have with the next stage of the process.”
