It is highly possible that some coastal routes, sea fronts, causeways and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves depending on tide times.

South or southwesterly winds will strengthen this morning, with gusts reaching 60-70 mph quite widely, perhaps reaching 75 mph in a few locations for a time before gradually easing through the evening. The weather warning expires at 10pm tonight.
