Overnight closure planned for Castle Access Road

Two night time road closures – from 9pm to 4am – are planned by Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar.

In accordance with the requirements for maintaining and inspecting its bridge assets, the Comhairle proposes to install replacement precast culvert units at the Castle Access Road culvert adjacent to the Golf Club.

This will require the ropad to be closed on two occasions.

The first closure is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, from 9pm to 4am. The second closure is provisionally booked for two weeks following this date. This will be confirmed later.

The access road will be closed to traffic between these hours with temporary access available along the saw mill road with allowance only for emergency vehicles to pass through.
