Potential disruption to ferry services between Mallaig and Lochboisdale

CalMac is reporting potential disruption to ferry services between Mallaig and Lochboisdale due to adverse weather conditions.

Adverse weather conditions may cause some disruption to ferry services.

Today (Friday, August 28), due to north easterly winds, the service is liable to disruption or cancellation at short notice.

Also, from Friday August 28 to Sunday, August 30, due to livestock sales, there will be no service between Mallaig and Lochboisdale.

The service will operate the following amended timetables between Oban-Lochboisdale:

• Friday 28th August: Depart Lochboisdale 1415, Arrive Oban 1930. There will be no return to Lochboisdale on Friday but an additional service will operate to Lochboisdale on Sunday.

• Saturday 29th August: Depart Oban 1230, Arrive Lochboisdale 1720; Depart Lochboisdale 1825, Arrive Oban 2315.

• Sunday 30th August: Depart Oban 1030, Arrive Lochboisdale 1545.
