Temporary closure of Lews Castle Access Road to allow for essential works

The Lews Castle access road will be closed off tomorrow night (Tuesday, September 8).

The road will be closed between 9pm and 1am to allow for the installation of the second half of replacement precast bridge unit.

This work will be carrioed out at the Castle Access Road culvert adjacent to the Golf Club.

While the access road is closed to traffic, temporary access will be available along the sawmill road, with allowance only for emergency vehicles to pass through.
