Stòras Uibhist is holding two evening meetings for Amanda Bryan of Aigas Associates to present the findings of the Community Consultation Survey and Review that was undertaken by drop-in sessions held throughout the estate in December 2010 and postal survey in January and February 2011.
The consultation was seeking views on: what the community company has done well; what the community company can do better going forward; what the priorities should be in the future; and how best to keep people informed of progress
The meetings will be held on Tuesday 10th May at Southend Hall, Daliburgh at 7.30pm and on Wednesday 11th May in St Mary’s Hall, Griminish, also at 7.30pm.
Amanda Bryan will present the findings contained in her report and the Directors of Stòras Uibhist will present their response immediately afterwards. This will be followed by an opportunity for people to ask questions of both Amanda Bryan and the Directors of Stòras Uibhist.
All households in the Estate area have been mailed an invitation to the evening meetings, a summary of the report provided by Aigas Associates and a summary of the Directors initial response to the findings. Full copies of the report will be available at local Post Offices, Oifis Stòras, as well as on the Members section of the Stòras Uibhist website: www.storasuibhist.com/members/community-consultation/
