Lewis Highland Dancing Society held a special celebration last Saturday to mark 25 years of competitions.
The committee was set up in 1988 and since then hundreds of girls have taken part in competitions locally.
The evening was an opportunity for past and present dancers and their families to come together and reminisce. Lynn Maclean has been teaching in the islands for over 30 years and has put hundreds of girls through competitions and exams. The evening included displays from her current dancers and also a surprise performance from some of her former pupils, several of whom had not danced for more than 16 years.
Take a look at our video from the evening with the first clip showing the former dancers dancing with Lynn Maclean and her daughter Mairead.
