Watch the Irish fishing vessel sink beneath the waves as the crew are pulled to safety.
The crew of athe boat were rescued by Stornoway Coastguard after it got into difficulty on Tuesday, January 20.
The Iuda Noafa became swamped with water and started to sink about 48 miles off the coast of the Butt of Lewis.
The Stornoway Coastguard helicopter airlifted the five members of the boat’screw before the vessel was sunk. Two of the crew were taken to another boat, before taking three of the crew to Western Isles Hospital, where they were treated for hypothermia.
