What voters need to know for Euro poll day

The European Election takes place today (Thursday 22nd May), Local Returning Officer, Mr Malcolm Burr is reminding voters in the Comhairle nan Eilean Siar Area what they need to know to have their say on polling day:

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm. When voting at a polling station, it’s helpful to take your poll card with you. But if you don’t have it, don’t let that stop you – you can still vote.

Details of Polling Stations are available on the Comhairle’s web pages.

If you applied for a postal vote, it needs to be received by the Local Returning Officer by 10pm on Thursday 22 May.

If you have left it too late to post back, you can drop it off at any polling station in Na h-Eileanan an Iar or the Election Office, Council Offices, Sandwick Road, Stornoway.
