Another bronze at the Island Games

The men’s 4x400 metres relay team have collected bronze this afternoon (Friday) at the NatWest Island Games.

The relay team making the podium again for the Western Isles were Stewart Chalmers, Murdo Mackenzie, Donald Macleod and Cameron Ross.

Their success brought this Island Games medal haul to four, one gold, one silver and two bronzes, and put the Western Isles in 16th place in the medal league table behind Ynys Mon and Orkney which are also on four medals.

Topping the league table by some margin is Guernsey with a tally of 99 medals.
