Our NatWest Island Games adventure is over for another 24-months but the memories, medal haul and experiences collected in Jersey will be tough to repeat.
A massive 19 medals were tucked away on the return flight filled with our buoyant athletes at the weekend – a massive nine clear of our previous best total.
In Jersey we thrilled, we wowed and we left our Hebridean fingerprint on a Games to remember for all.
From entering the pool without having ever secured a swimming medal we ended the Island Games adventure with no less than five swimming medals.
The unparalleled MacPhee sisters brought home eight medals between them on their mountain bikes while Donnie Macleod added another hat-trick of gongs to take his NatWest Island Games tally to 10.
Eve Carrington won another pair of medals, Connor Maclean – participating in his first Games did likewise.
We also brought home a first ever shooting medal thanks to the eagle eyed Donald Walker.
