Sheona Griffiths (nee Maclennan) of The Post Office, Loch Portain, North Uist, ran the London Marathon last weekend and raised over £2000 for Tagsa Uibhist at the same time.

Sheona usually sees the marathon from a different perspective through her day job with BBC Sport but this year she decided to switch roles and take on the might of the marathon herself.

Now living in Manchester with her two boys, Finaly, 6, and Logan 3, (and husband Matthew who also works for BBC Sport). 39-year-old Sheona’s mum Mary Anne Maclennan still lives in Loch Portain at the old post office.
