Sea Angling A v Lodge

The final score in this match doesn’t reflect how close some of the singles games were. Alex K (140x2, 100x4) got the home team off to a good start beating Iain 3-0. Next up was a cracking tussle between Willie (140x2, 100x4) and Bananas (125, 100x4) with Willie coming out on top winning 3-2 despite some sharp finishing from Bananas. Alex P (100x4) beat Ruaraidh (100) 3-1 to give the home team a 3-0 lead. Terry (140) then went 2-0 up against Sam (140, 100x5) to give the away team some hope but with some heavy scoring in the last couple of legs Sam pulled it back winning 3-2. The final singles game between Murdo A (100x6) and Nini (140x2, 100x2) was another close affair with Murdo fighting back from 2-1 down to win 3-2.

Alex K (100), Murdo A and Sam claimed the triple beating Bananas (140), Ruaraidh and Terry. Alex K (100) and Alex P beat Bananas and Iain in the first double with Nini and Terry giving the away team a deserved win on the board in the final game beating Murdo A (100) and Sam (140) for a final score of 7-1 to the home side.
