the deadline to get your Fantasy Football entries in is fast approaching with this Friday at 5pm the cut-off point.

So for your chance to be in with the chance to win the Stornoway Gazette bounty and for your chance to prove you are the Hebridean Mourinho get your team selections in to the Stornoway Gazette ASAP.

What would you do with £25million? Do you fancy yourself as a budding Sir Alex Ferguson? Would you like to mould and shape a dream team to conquer all comers in island football?

Would you like to stitch a brace of Bacachs, a helping of Hearachs, a layer of Lochies with a sprinkling of Siarachs?

Do you wish you could pair goal-gluttons Scott Maciver and Fraser Macleod, plunderers of a whopping 70 between them in 2011, up front together?

Well now you can as the Stornoway Gazette is reintroducing the popular local fantasy football league giving island football fans to boss their local footie favourites and possibly line their pockets at the same time with a top prize of £150 up for grabs for top boss at the end of the season.

A healthy transfer kitty of £25million has been supplied for bosses to make their picks from which they must choose a first eleven to take on all comers this season made up of the following: one goalkeeper, four defenders, four midfielders and two forwards.

You can also select up to four players ONLY from any one Lewis and Harris League team

Each manager must also select a player on your team to be the team’s captain. This player will score double the number of points he would usually have been awarded for that game week. When your team is first selected you must select a player to be designated as such.

Once a player is set as the team’s captain he will continue to be the captain until the end of the season.
