Hebridean footballing foes will combine their sporting might for the good of the coffers of local charities this week for the annual fundraising event.
Four teams, the Best of the West (West Side and Carloway players) will be joined by players from Uist’s Iochdar Saints, a Tago’s XI and a select side made up from players from the other Lewis and Harris league clubs in a special four team charity tournament.
Each side will have three short matches before subsequent semi-finals and a final.
The matches will be played this Saturday (November 12) in Carloway with a scheduled kick-off time of 1pm. The matches will be followed by a fundraising auction and raffle in the Carloway Community Centre and then a dance with live music provided by Iain ‘Spanish’ Mackay, Strange Brew and Norrie ‘Tago’ Maciver.
