Co-op beat Tesco in charity football clash

After watching their Stornoway supermarket rivals Tesco win the charity football trophy three years on the bounce, the Co-op were determined to make amends this year.

And they did just that with a stunning penalty shoot-out victory which saw them take the charity shield back to their Macaulay Road store for the first time.

All monies raised on the night will also boost a number of local charities ensuring the real winners are those who need it most.
