Football feast in view

There’s plenty of senior football action in store over the next few days for fans in Lewis.

The first of the games kick off on Wednesday evening with the following league fixtures:

Lochs v Back, Ness v Point, and United v Carloway.

Friday sees two other league clashes, with Athletic entertaining title hopefuls West Side, while Point face up to Lochs.

And on Saturday, Back and Carloway take on mainland opposition away in the fourth round of the Highland Amateur Cup. Kicking off at 12.30pm, Back play Golspie Stafford at Alness while Carloway travel to Maryburgh to play Kirkwall Rovers.

Next Monday (July 11) Lochs play West Side and Harris take on Point in the first leg of the Eilean an Fhraoich Cup semi-finals.
