The scheduled Jock Mackay Cup clash between Lewis and Harris and Thurso could be the latest casualty of the wintry weather.

A final pitch inspection is to be undertaken on Thursday, January 22 ahead of the scheduled Saturday cup match at the Highland Football Academy in Dingwall but the early indications suggested the game would not be going ahead.

A snow covered surface conbined with ongoing sub-zero temperatures have left the playing fields unplayable and it appears likely that the match would have to be rescheduled.
