The race for the Lewis and Harris football league title could all boil down to a winner-takes-all final day match after long-time leaders West Side were held away to Point.

Their 3-3 draw at Garrabost means they are now just a point ahead of second placed Lochs with the two sides scheduled to meet on Wednesday, September 3. Should both West Side and Lochs win their remaining matches in between the final day match then a draw would be enough for West Side to win their first ever league title whereas a win would see Lochs crowned champs.
