The race for the Lewis and Harris league title will go to the final round of fixtures for the second season in a row.

Last night (Monday, August 24) both Lochs and Point won with the Reds sitting a point clear having completed all their fixtures.

Lochs though have one game in hand which sees them face Ness at the Creagan Dubh next Monday night (August 31).

As things stand a win for Lochs will see the Maroons take the title, their first since 2010, while a draw will see them tie with Point and force a play-off the league title.

A win for Ness will see Point crowned champs on a night they are not even in action.

Lochs thrashed Back 8-1 and Point edged Ness 2-1 as we enter the final week.
