Point will meet West Side in the Jock Stein Cup final after the Reds won a see-saw semi-final last night (Wednesday).

Lewis and Harris’ last undefeated side finally have a blot on their copybook after Lochs came undone 3-2 in Garrabost.

Sam Macsween scored the winner in extra-time (pictured above) to take Point through 3-2.

Lochs had led through a Craig Maclean header before Jim O’Donnell put through his own net to level.

Alasdair ‘Wally’ Maciver prodded Point in front before O’Donnell snatched a stoppage time leveller to force extra-time.

Lochs were the dominant side in the extra-30 minutes played but Point won it with their only real break in the extra-period when Macsween sprinted clear and finished impressively.

The Jock Stein Cup final will be played on Friday, June 12, 2015.
