A late, great show swung the pendulum towards Stornoway United against Point in the weekend’s U18 Macleod Insurance Cup Final.

The Broadbay Reds had led for much of the game 2-0 following goals by Kenny Macsween and Kieran Bell but United refused to chuck in the towel. United skipper Jack Maclennan scored with a towering header five minutes from time to kickstart the fightback before a last gasp Hugh Morrison penalty levelled matters.

Morrison then won it for United with a free kick in extra-time to win the trophy.
