Haggis to run London Marathon

STUART Wilkie, whose parents live on Lewis, is set to run the London Marathon dressed as a Haggis!

He is running in aid of the Stroke Association Charity which is a cause very close to his family’s heart.

Stuart’s mum, who lives in Aird Tong, Isle of Lewis, suffered a stroke several years ago and so he is keen to raise as much money as possible for the charity.

He said: “My Mum had a Stroke several years ago, she thankfully surrvied, unfortuantely some sufferers are left with some form of disability, and in my Mum’s case everyday is a challenge for her, and my Dad who is now her round the clock carer.”
