Both side started cautiously but it was Lochaber who opened the scoring after 10 minutes with a well constructed move that ended with a shot from the edge of the D giving Lewis keeper Graham Cay no chance.

For the rest of the first half Lochaber’s neat one twos and clinical finishing troubled the Lewis defence and produced another three scores.Paddy Sinclair for Lewis saw a goal bound long range effort well saved by the Lochaber goalie.

Manager Duncan MacIntyre freshened up the Lewis attack with Donald Lamont and Peter Gomez coming on for Will Church and Ally Lamont. However Lochaber knocked in another four in quick succession in the first 20 minutes of the second half. Paul Duke smashed in a last minute consolation for The Leodhasach from the edge of the D. Final score 8-1.
