Champions Cup/Summer Open singles and doubles.
The Champions Cup took place on August 15 which saw players who had won, or competed in a final throughout the previous two darts seasons, take part.
On the same day The Challenger Cup for the rest of the players .
Alex Morrison was top man from the oche in the Champions Cup as he came out on top beating Finlay Maciver 9-3 in the final. Meanwhile, Stuart won the Challenger Cup defeating Don Macleod 6-4.
Summer Open singles / doubles.
The competition started off with the doubles which went to the Island Champions and league doubles champions Alex Morrison and Finlay Maciver.
The deadly duo defeated Murdo Alex and Kenny Macleod 5-2. They will take some beating this year as their form carried into the singles where they both reached the final and what a standard they set.
Finlay got his revenge from the last week beating Alex 8-2 hitting an 11 dart leg and hitting 17 100 + scores. Alex also had 2x 180’s and a 120 checkout.
It really was an exceptional standard of darts and all at the club look forward to seeing how they get on at the Highland and Islands.
All involved would also like to wish Alex all the best as he heads to Inverness this weekend for the start of the county season. This will be his second season with the Highland team, and he has got himself into the A team where he is showing great commitment and progression.
