The Emergency Services Charity Cycle from the Butt of Lewis to Barra will take place again this summer.

Organised by George Murray at Stornoway Police Station, the event will take place on June 18th, 19th and 20th.

This year the charities chosen are Macmillan Cancer Support and Crossroads.

Thirty cyclists have already signed up to the challenge but the team are looking for more and anyone interested is asked to get in touch with George by email on george.murray25@btinternet.com

In the last two years alone, the event has raised £57,000 for charity. Pictured are some of the team last year.
