Storlann has distributed cards about the sports at the Commonwealth Games at schools throughout Scotland, and there are interactive games based on the cards on the Storlann website.

Now Storlann has launched a new app which allows pupils - and anyone else with an interest in sport - to access the information and the interactive games on their phones or tablets.

Spors 2014 is the first app produced by Storlann, in collaboration with Donald MacDonald of Sealgar IT, and it is available at no cost in the Apple or Android app store.

Donald Morrison, Storlann CEO, said: “We know that pupils are enjoying the Games resources and the app will give them and their familes an extra opportunity to learn about the sports at Glasgow 2014.

“Many schools participated in a competition we ran based on the Commonwealth Games resources, and we will shortly be announcing the winners.”
