What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

An Isabel Marant wool cardigan with a big collar. I’m still on the winter collections.

What are you addicted to buying?

Shoes. It’s the Cinderella Syndrome. I’ve got two cupboards’ full – flats to run in and high heels to seduce.

Best ever bargain?

An amazing pair of trousers from H&M. They’re high-waisted and elegant.

Who has great style?

Any actress from the Fifties. They could do whatever women of today do but in high heels and stockings.

Name your favourite high street shop.

H&M. They’re so quick at turning over fashion trends.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

Most of them happen when you buy something on impulse. I’ve got a beautiful brown and green Prada skirt that I take out of the wardrobe and look at every day, but then I put a pair of trousers on.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

A ten year old green Isabel Marant sweater that’s fitted at the waist and is perfectly cut.
