Bràighe roadside monitoring station camera goes live on Comhairle website
The Roadside Camera Station will provide the travelling public, emergency services and decision makers with more visual information.
This will allow them to make better informed decisions on safe travel along the Bràighe in winter months during periods of high tide and stormy weather.

Hide AdThe camera can measure wind speed and direction and limited visibility night time images are also possible as a result of an infra-red camera.
Images are currently updated at ten minute intervals but will soon be regenerated every minute.
Images captured by the camera can now be viewed on the Comhairle website
