Comhairle will run the election process on behalf of the Western Isles Development Trust

An election for eight directors to serve on the Western Isles Development Trust is being undertaken on behalf of the Trust by the Comhairle nan Eilean Siar election team.

Two directors will be elected for each of the following areas – Barra & Vatersay, Uist, Harris and Lewis.

Nomination forms are available from the Western Isles Development Trust website or on request by email to: [email protected].

Only individuals can serve as directors (corporate bodies cannot stand for election). To be eligible to stand an individual must be over 16 years of age and ordinarily resident in the area to which they are seeking election.

The deadline for receipt of all nominations is set at 4pm on Monday, March 1.
