The Western Isles Council has confirmed that swimming pool facilities are all set to open up again.

Sport and health staff across the Outer Hebrides have been working as quickly as possible to get swimming pools back into action following the Scottish Government’s decision to move the islands into Level 3.

Each pool has its own unique challenges that have needed to be resolved but the council said they are delighted to be able to confirm the following reopening dates and times:-

Ionad Spòrs Leòdhais – Monday 5th April at 7.15am

Harris Sports Centre – Wednesday 31st March at 5.15pm

Liniclate Sports Centre – Thursday 1st April at 2.20pm

Castlebay Sports Centre – Wednesday 31st March at 1pm

Bookings can be made via the free CnES mobile pro app from 12pm the preceding day onwards.

The app is available from the App Store or Google Play – just search for ‘CnES – Sport Facilities’.

Customers will need their membership number and a four digit PIN to make a booking – contact [email protected] with your name, address and date of birth and one of the admin team will assist.
