A Police Scotland spokesperson updated the Gazette, saying: “On Monday, May 11th, around 8.45am, police were made aware of the sudden death of a 48-year-old man within a property at Macmillan Brae in Stornoway.
“Following an investigation and a subsequent post-mortem examination, we can confirm the death is not being treated as suspicious.
“A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
