Donald J Trump is being touted today as having hit the lowest point ever in any US Presidency by inciting his own people to violence as they stormed the Capitol building in Washington.

Four people have died after pro-Trump supporters took to the streets after being riled up by the President who refuses to accept the vote which saw Joe Biden win the US Presidency.

Washington DC police chief Robert Contee said the dead included a woman who was shot by US Capitol Police, as well as three others who died in “medical emergencies”.

The protestors, who some have called anarchists, became involved in a chaotic protest aimed at thwarting a peaceful transfer of power.

The attack forced politicians to rush from the building and interrupted challenges to Joe Biden’s Electoral College victory.

And, we have learned today that both Twitter and Facebook have placed temporary bans on the presidents accounts in an attempt to quell further unrest.

President Trump issued a restrained call for peace only after the protests were under way but did not urge them to disperse. Earlier he had seemingly egged them on to march to Capitol Hill.
