Reaction to the news from Love Island fans has been mixed, with some excited by the news, and others saying they would have preferred for ITV2 to air some of the older UK seasons that aren’t available to watch anymore.
One Twitter user wrote, “Doesn’t compare to our UK series. Would’ve just preferred you to put all the past seasons on ITV hub.”
Another posted, “Can’t wait, need something to fuel my Love Island withdrawals. Never seen the Oz version, so could be a little different. Though at the same time, I haven’t seen S1 of the UK version, so that would’ve been nice too. #LoveIsland.”
